Within Our Community...
At Country Fair, Inc. we take a great deal of pride in being an integral part of the communities in which we serve. The following projects are a few that we our working on to make our communities better for everyone.
Muscular Dystrophy Association

Country Fair’s Shamrock Spirit program for Muscular Dystrophy runs from February 9th to March 17th. Stop by your local Country Fair and purchase a green shamrock for one dollar or “go for the gold.” Gold shamrocks are five dollars. In 2010, Country Fair raised $127,500 for this worthwhile cause. To learn more about Muscular Dystrophy or helping “Jerry’s kids” visit the MDA web site at www.mdausa.org.
Holiday Food Drive to Help Local Food Banks
This holiday season Country Fair will team up with our vendor partners to support local food banks as they assist needy families in the local community, by sponsoring a holiday food drive. This promotion begins on November 24th and will run through December 21st. Customers can donate non-perishable food items at any Country Fair store. For each food item donated, customers will receive an entry form for the weekly drawing of valuable prizes.
In the past, the combination of our generous customers and our enthusiastic employees has resulted in incredible donations for those less fortunate. Please help us by donating food items to help needy local families. Together we can make this food drive a HUGE success!
Country Fair/Bay Front Playground

Built at the shoreline of Erie Pennsylvania's bay front, this children's playground could be the largest wheelchair accessible playground of its kind in the world. Work was completed on the playground in early fall of 1999. Folks from several volunteer groups took the time to assemble the Little Tykes structure. Directions to the playground:
Take I-79 North to Erie. Exit 12th St. East. Follow approximately 1 mile to Bayfront Highway. Travel east approximately 2 miles (playground is behind the Park n' Ride, just West of the Sloppy Duck Saloon.)
Country Fair also donates to the Volunteer Fire Departments and many Prom-to-Dawn functions every year.
